FLEUR DE LYS

She buried him once.
She will not lose him again.

Fleur de Lys book cover by Augusta Gosling a Wars of the Roses inspired Series, book 3 of Lochlainn

The Story

Alys of Lochlainn thought she had survived the worst. Then she learns Lord Hampton is alive in France and bound to another woman.

Alys of Lochlainn's world breaks apart when she learns the man she loves has been killed in battle. Left to protect her children and her position, she has no time for grief before the King of England claims authority over her future.

Determined to protect her children and salvage what remains of her family, she follows him across the Narrow Sea into a court shaped by rivalry, fear, and shifting loyalties.

At Plessis, the greatest danger is not war, but the Countess herself.

Powerful, calculating, and determined to secure her own position, the Countess of Plessis wastes no time in making her hostility clear. When she leaves for Plessis with the children ahead of Alys and Hampton, Alys has no choice but to follow into a household where every smile conceals a threat.

Then her daughter vanishes.

As England draws her back into its own dangers and old enemies gather once more, Alys is forced to fight on two fronts: for the man she loves, and for the child she will do anything to recover.

Because this time, love is not the only thing at stake.

Her family is.

Inspired by the shifting loyalties of the Wars of the Roses.

Perfect for fans of Philippa Gregory, Elizabeth Chadwick, and Anne O'Brien, Fleur de Lys is the third book in the Lochlainn Series, a medieval story of grief, survival.
